Community Development & Welfare Fund Committee
The objectives of the Committee are to:
- Provide assistance to needy and/or meritorious students in pursuing education;
- Provide financial and social assistance to needy residents;
- Provide welfare, programmes and facilities for the promotion of social cohesion, racial harmony and civic responsibility; and
- Promote social cohesion, racial harmony and civic responsibilities.
The Committee plans schemes, projects and activities to meet their objectives, and periodically review the programmes and outcomes to ensure their relevance to changing environment and needs.
The Committee may form sub-committees to carry out its functions, such as scholarship/bursary awards, student allowances and welfare aid.
